Ok, Weve all been there, you get into an argument, with your lady, or your man, and all of a sudden, whatevers on your mind is just gonna come out..Irregardless of what it is, youre just gonna say it, and let the chips fall where they may. Well, that , is exactly what many sports fans were exposed to yesterday when Kobe got on the Stephen A. Smith show following quotes from an insider saying he's the reason why The Big Aristotle is no longer in L.A.. There was no doubt in my mind that A. He wasnt sincerely leaving L.A., or B, the Lakerz were even going to get close to Fair Market Value for a guy many consider to be the best in the game since 23 left. But, if it makes you feel better, while at home and on many, chat pages, I will unveil the top 5 trades I saw from fans who are just as fed up as you are with there teams and want some kind of change...

1. Kobe to the Suns for Either Amare and Barbosa, or Marion, Barbosa, and the #24 pick in the draft. ...This intrigued me on a number of levels. Theres no doubt in my mind that both teams win either way. You get one helluva back court with a beast in the middle in PHX, or in LA, you get 2 guys you can build around

2. Ben Wallace and Ben Gordon Straight up for Kobe...Cant see nothing wrong with this trade either, Unless im a Bulls Fan still soft in the middle. Youd still lack that beast who can avg. 15 and 10 down low, but in the east, with Kobe, youre gonna be in every game.

3. KG FOR KOBE straight up... Hey, you take my long suffering star with no help, and well take yours....Enough said..

4. AI, NENE and JR Smith, for Kobe and Luke Walton. It gives LA the Star back after losing KOBE, and he fills the seats, but it does mean KOBE is headed back to Denver..We all know how well that went the last time...

5. Kobe for TMAC straight Up..Unless LA has been living in a vacuum and has been totally oblivious to the others teams around them, it would almost be a perfect one for one swap. Provided, TMAC stayed healthy, and got that nastiness back in him he had in Orlando..Kobe would be pitted along side Yao (a star who doesnt want it in the clutch) and the glaring omissions at point and power forward really wouldnt matter b/c Kobe would have the ball in the 4th anyway.

Real Talk Interracial Dating....

No memba when this week..Gotta question for my peeplz i kinda swagger jacked from a radio host I heard while in Canada a week ago....He asked the audience of people how many people ever dated outside of there race, and what seems to be the main reason why its seems so taboo amongst sistah's...Now, as a black man, Im not going to tell you that many of us look at skin as a deterrent, I know some who do, but by in large the majority Ive been around rarely discriminate. Mostly, we check for looks, personality, and annoyance factor. (Ladies theres know way to know your score on the last one, b/c each man has a different tolerance)

With that said, Believe it or not, color is low on the priority list..But, thats from a mans perspective. I couldnt tell you why my sistah's would never date outside of the race..
But, that's why we blog...

Some of the basic reasons I came up with are,
1 . The take Home shock therapy.. The guy may be the best man in the world, but he aint never going to meet the parents..Mom and Dad are still stuck in the stone age in that regard.

2. The he wont be able to relate with "my" issues phobia...Simply put, as a minority day to day its a struggle, coming home and and trying to relay those feelings to someone who doesn't get it, may take its toll. ie Sanaa Lathan in Something New .

3. Self Loathe. What does it tell all blackman out there, when they see me with a _____..
and Finally

4. Embarrassment. I sure hope so and so didn't see us at Papadeaux's the other day.

This is just me brainstorming, any inputs to the discussion are highly encouraged..

Sleeper Cell Michael Ealy

So I spent Memorial day weekend pretty much like I spent my 9 yrs in the military, in a resting position, waiting for something, anything to happen...While channel surfing I stumbled upon a pretty good show on Showtime...Sleeper Cell American Terror starring Michael Ealy . After doing research, it turns out that i actually rolled up on the start of the second season, and that it, was indeed a re-run, never the less, I highly recommend it as I was thoroughly enjoyed by it, and theres a great chance that when it re airs on the 10th of June, i'll be front row again..

Plot Summary,

Michael plays Darwin al-Sayeed, an FBI Undercover agent embedded in a terrorist cell and his goal is to break up any potential operations that cell may try to do. In doing so, his family life is shattered, his cell members face there own personal plateaus from homosexuality, self identity crisis, and extreme self hate..

I say again, it re-airs on the 10th of June all eight episodes on either Showtime Extreme, or Showtime starting at 8pm eatsern, with the last show ending at 3am...I promise you, one show and youll be hooked ...

Lost and Found, Blake Doug E. Fresh , and The Return of Sanjaya!

Last night was the Lost Season Finale..It wsnt the SVU season Finale Great, but it was very eye opening and answered lots of Questions..All in all, after I figured out what was going on in Jack, I had to re watch it again before I could truly apprecaite it...

*Spoiler*

So it starts out with the Passenger of flight 815 prepping for there defense of there Baby Momz by stagin a fake setup devised to trap the others..Of cousre not being prepared for the ambush they take the bait, and 7 of them are blown off the map within the first 1o minutes..All the action and ambush is of course headed by Sayeed, and as ive told you all b4, him and Sawyer are guarenteed action, so when there one the show expects sizzle.. Unfortunatly Jin's dynamite fails to go off, so the others capture him and the dentist forcing Sayeed to surrender his gun..

From there the oters phone Ben (there leader) and he figures out the plot against the Jammed signal, the radio and the plan to leave the island.. I know fast forward you to Charlie, who i thought was dead in his chair...He may be the reason why everyone got salvaged..Turning off the beacon despite dying , to ensure that Desomond didnt side tracked looking at his fiance, might be one of the best moments in TV History......

But, if youre like me, and you missed the whole Jack Sequence, watch it slowly..Youll have to see it twice, you might even have to go back a couple episodes like to when he visisted Singapore...

On To Idol..

No Surprise Jordin Won, but for what its worth Blake performance with Doug E. Fresh , may have been one of the best live perofomrances on TV you will ever see.. But, enough about them , My Boy Snajaya was back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He sung Girl You Really Got me , his classic with Aersomith Guitarist Bruce Perry, they tore it up....I will stay by my point that Sanjaya equals ratings, and as long as they have a Sanjaya type we'll always be watching..Im pretty sure the Porducers of the show know that, but thats just me....

Another really good TV Night...8 months until the roller coaster starts all over again...

Law and Order SVU Classic

Last night was the season Finale of Law and Order SVU, and fam, im having a hard time trying to figure out if it was the best season Finale of the Year...I honsetly havent seen an episode this good and unpredictable on TV since the Wire ended..

Where to begin, Ludacris came back on the show to stand trial for the murder of the woman and child he hacked up and buried underneath a house about 7 weeks ago. Instead of trying an insanity defense like it the assumption was when we last saw him, he put the NYPD on trial and it was a brilliant strategy....All the dirt that was ever covered up on the show was exposed last night...The DUI Stablers Daughter had, Bensons Rapist Fugitive Brother, and Toutoula's undercover dirt were all exposed...A judge even had to be reclused from testimony b/c she aided in the coverup of a case ..In the end, Luda got off, and as rare as it is that Novak loses a case on the show, she did, and was immeadiatly summoned to her bosses office afterwards...

It was the first time I can honsetly say I was sittting on the couch begging for the next season to start... Classic..Scene of the night, its a toss up between when Stablers daughter was dragged from her house in handcuffs in the end, or when the Captain had to sit the Competency hearing b/c of the corrupt charges filed against his team..Both will chill you to the bone...

Sparks Fly At Idol Finale..

Im Layin it out there....This has been, and forever will be the Unofficial Sanjaya showmelove board, but our secret number 2 showed us last night that she has what it takes to do big things in this here music bizness ...Jordin Sparks performance last night blew away Human Beatbox and performing favorite Blake Lewis , and if you ask me, solidified her seat at the table with Rueben, Carrie, Fantasia and the rest as the next American Idol....

Brief Summary:

Blakes best performance: You give love a bad name..It allowed him the freedom to beatbox, dance and add his personal style to it...I thought after that performance he was a lock to win the whole thing..

Jordins Best Performance: This is My Now..It was a ballad, thats her comfort zone. It allowed her to blow the song up, set up the runs, and nail the hook..Her competitor Blake, isnt very good at Ballads, his weak voice is over exposed every time he has to do one..She over powered him in that regard...

Simon and Randy couldnt emphasize enough that it was a singing competition and not a performance competition, by those rules, Jordan should win in a landslide.. Blakes in a very good performer, who theres no doubt in my mind, will give Justin a solid run for his money, but the guy has no vocal talent....So tonight, if all goes well, dont be surprised if Jordin is the one on the stage at the end when its all said and done...

Well, anyone watching the news over the past 2 weeks is completly aware of Michael Vick and the new allegations of Dog Fighting at one of his Virginia Homes thats been going down over the past couple of months....I say again, Allegedly... Well, if this is the case, with the O.W.C. deciding to step in and add there 2 cents, if Mike is even remotly guilty of anything related to the charges at hand, expect Roger Goodell to promptly give Mike his temporary walking papers as I expect him to be suspended at a minimum 6 games...

I gotta admit, Ive seen these shows many a day growing up in the Acres Homes /5TH Ward section of Houston as a kid..I wont lie, to an extent I find it sickening. I remember my first encounter when I was 12 and we were visiting family in Mo-City and got a first row seet to a Pitbull / Terrier showdown...In the end of the battle one dog was left earless...Blood was everywhere...From there, Ive only seen these events get worse..BTW, I wasnt looking for Dog fights, I just happened on them...

To my point, Im a huge Mike Vick Fan, but this is wrong. Dogs arent meant to be wrestled for sport and sometimes to the death..There are worse things in life but this is pretty bad. I plan on sitting back and waiting this one out. But something tells me Clinton Portis didnt help Mikes case

Im in Texas, yall, San Antonio to be exact , how come I pulled over to get gas, and it said 3.04 cent a gallon..I had to do a double take b/c it kinda shocked me...3.04 cent a gallon. Now for those unaware, I drive a 2004 Dodge @#%^@#$^% Truck...On full that bad boy went to 42 dollars today..My people, my brsin equates that to a really good date.

For 42.00 I could do the following , take the family to the ZOO, Movies and Mc Donalds all in the same Day..(Zoo Pass)

I could buy 5 drinks ,and get inside the Popular Downtown San Antonio Night Club, and when its over, hit up Jack or Mc D's for a night cap. (I'd add T-Bell, but E-coli's a biyatch)

Well you get my drift...This shite is getting stupid..Now, I only work 7 miles away from where I stay, people, Im really considering biking that...Its been a minute, but dem 40 bucks startin to hurt...Your thoughts...

First things first, I am of the opinion that San Antonio stole the series from Phoenix. Thats the Bottom Line..With that said, this next series San Antonio plays vs. Utah should be quick work. No need for me to break that down, it'll be over in 6 at the latest. Same thing for Detroit and Cleveland..Dont get me wrong Lebron's great, but even Michael had Scotty, and sorry Larry Hughes just aint Scotty yet. Idol Shocker, Finding Lost and Dirty Tonio's Late Night Victory

So as many of you know, the moment Sanjaya got shown the door I pretty much stopped watching all things American Idol. Last night, I decided what the hell, the Cavs Net game couldnt be more boring and its not like I dont see New Jersey losing this game..(I told yall 7)

A quick flip over to Fox and who should i see in the bottom 2 Melinda Doolittle..Now if you didnt watch any of American Idol you may have missed out on this one..She is truly one of the best voice the show has ever had. I rank her right up there with Reuben, Latoya London, and Fantasia.. To make a long story short, despite all her brilliance it wasnt enough as she was sent home in what may be the Idol shocker of the season. Theyre do one every season, and thus far we hadnt had one..Unless all you Sanjaya haterz wanna debate his relavence..

On To Lost...

If youre late into this show, you are missing a Classic Finale...Theyve tied up each and every loophole they've ever had, and now the fight of the others vs. the Flight Strandees is about to get really sticky...Alliances have been broken, Lock is stuck God knows where with Jacob the friendly ghost, and My boy Sayeed is trying to hook up the radio...Lost fan note, the more Sayeed the better the the show...Him and Sawyer are guaranteed action..

And then there was Dirty Tonio..So i'm cleaning my house in expectation of my mother in laws arrival and I have the game going on in the back round. To my surprise the Suns were up 16 so, like many of you, I pretty much figured the game was over. Man was I wrong..I come from out of my garage about 20 minutes later and the spurs are only down 4, and Manu has just hit a three to make it a one point game. Needless to say I was a little disgusted. Dont worry anti Spur fans, I see the Suns winning Game 6, with a healthy Diaw, and Amare Back, its gonna require allot of helpside from the spurs big man to help out Timmie..It wont be enough though...

I never owned a fanny pack, but best believe I clowned the many people I saw who did....First off, from a mans perspective, outside of money and keys, what else did you need to carry that couldnt fit in your pockets??? As far as women go, I have yet to see an item so bulky that it couldnt fit into your purse...These were believe it or not fashion trends..I remember cats at school trying to accessorize for there fanny packs...God I hated these things...

Stayin Alive and Jazz Muzak...

First off, Big Props to the Bullz...It wouldve been easy to lay it down and let what I for see happening in 6 anyway happen last night, but they held there own blowing out Detroit at home yesterday. It goes without saying that the formula for success with the Bulls is focused around the back court, but I tell you what, Tyrus Thomas is the truth. The longer he's on the court the better they play.

And then the Jazz played...First off, big props to the Golden State Warriors..Yall werent even picked by many cats to even make the playoffs let alone beat Dallas. Last night, the Jazz defeated the Warriors and ended the magic ride that the Bay Area had us on for the past 2 weeks. Now, theres potential for a Jazz Spurs Western Conference Final..Two teams as a Rocket fan I personally could permanently do without...Not to mention now with San Antonio coming into tonight's game with the added advantage of playing Phoenix without Amare and Boris...

When Will The Gringo's Ever Learn

Well, evidently mockin good blackfolk wasnt good enough for the University of Delaware Honor Society, this time theyve decided to focus there attention on Latino's and throw a mock Cinco De Mayo party....At the party, people were shirts that said Pedro and wore dirty farm hand clothes as well as various outfits depicting landscaping maintenance as there choice profession....

The women at the party parodied latina's as being teenage pregnant girls and wore shirts that said latina hot and spicy...One girl even had a shirt own that said im drunk off my ass in tequila, with an arrow pointing to her crack....

I guess I dont have to tell you that moments after the pictures were released apologies were sent a day later CITING Ignorance and being unaware of how offensive there acts are as reasons behind there actions....Personally, as much as It hurts me to say this, I am no longer shocked...Ive been to the North East, I can confirm racism is still prevalent there..At some point, Id love to see the parents of these kids explain themselves though..As a parent how would you feel knowing your child (in honors classes no less) is behaving like this??

Turns out no matter how dirty you play, solid basketball always win out..Last night after Steve Nash got checked against the sideline by Robert Horry , it ignited Phoenix to put the clamps down in the final minutes of play to secure a must have game 4 win thus shifting homecourt back to them..My Nov, favorites to win it all are still fighting..I just hope Amare gets to play in game five....Oh, and no more talk from my local readers and you know who are, about San Antonio doesnt play dirty....

My boy E Over at BGDBOOM can give you complete coverage of the Bulls, and its highly reccomended giving he's a die-hard Bullz Fan...But, from an outsiders perspective, I'll say this, You gotta get more productivity from the 4/5 hole...Locking down on C-Webb helps, but Detroit has so many weapoons I fear thats not enough...Tyrus should remain on the Court at all times, and Ben Gordon should be the only person with the ball in his hand in the 4th..Do that , and maybe, just maybe this series isnt over in 5..

Memba when 70's Sitcoms was all You Watched?

Memba when you use to come home from school, and if you were a latch-key kid you couldnt go outside..All you could do was sat at home and stare at the TV...I do, and I got seriously addicted to 70's sitcoms...Thats My Mama, Whats Happening, Sanford and Son, yo name it,If it was old skool, had blackfolk in it and was funny, odds are I was watching it..

On top of my 70's sitcom mountain was Good Times..It was a classic..A lower middle class black family in the Ghetto of Chicago Struggling to make it...Ive racked my brain trying to figure out which was my best episode, and that shyte was useless..There were sooooooo many..So without further adu, i'll just give you a snippet of my 5 favorites and hopefully it will give you a portal to my mindset...(These are in no particular order by the way)

1. The episode were Penny gets Burned with the Iron by her Mom..Im a sick$%^&, b/c I musta laughed my ass off each and every time I saw it...When she drops the Classic quote, "Momma No!", every time I hit the flo......

2. Damn Damn Damn!!!..Who didnt see this coming..Your husband died shortly after he got his job in the MI Crooked Letter and Florida acted like it was just another day..Yeah.......Right.....When she shattered that Punchbowl , it was epic. To this very day, I have yet to see anything on TV that dramatic. She made you believe (at least me anyway that she was in pain)

My peepz, today we take a trip to our neighbors in the North...Ottawa..At first glance, you wouldnt think much of the place, Downtowns small, I havent seen one Mc'Ds (dont laugh) and Customs thought ya boy was a gangsta rapper banned from the joint....(God I wish I was making the last line up)

Anyway, im here now, and a quick radio scan got me a alot of French Canadian Rap..Specifically this guy Freeman, who sounds decent....To bad I have no unearthly idea what is he and his boys are saying.....

Dipset Story

Trade Yao or go Nowhere.....

First and formemost, the NBA is built around speed...The faster your team is ,the more likely they are to score defend, and shoot at a higher clip...Yao lacks that..

Secondly, you gotta hustle..You gotta be able to move left and right as well as you move north and south on the court..Yao cant do that either..You see, Yao Ming at 7'6 inches is only good at one thing, scoring...He cant defend the much smaller player on him , he's not nasty enough to pull a rebound away from a point guard, nor is he agile enough to defend the pick role..All he can do is use his height to score...Period......As a Rocket fan, I about died last night watching him lumber up and down the court getting beat to the rebound by a 6'9 Carlos Boozer, who by the way lit him up for 34 points as well... Dont let that number shock you b/c in game 1, Carlos had 41, and oh yes, Yao was checking him then as well.....

Despite all these glaring errors in Yao's game, there are many and I do mean many haterz out there who will point the finger at T-Mac.....To them I say this, if youre gonna base your argument on shot selection, then I'll listen, b/c you shouldnt be able, if capable to turn on aggressiveness..If you can slash, do it, if not shoot the J....Other then that, T-mac did all that he could do..26 points and 13 assist speak for themselves..Essentially that equates to 50% of the offense scored in last nights 101-97 defeat...Thats Half people...Outside of Jumping into Yao's body and grabbing one of those must have rebounds, the man could only do so much.....

So now we get to the point of my title TRADE YAO...C'mon lets face it, if H-town wouldve won and played GSW, how many of us honestly wouldve felt good picking Houston? Who was Lumber-Ming gonna check??? Harrington?, I dont think so, to fast, Stephen Jackson?, same argument....Beidress perhaps, that means you assume Nellie was going to allow him to even play this series..Why would he, I sure wouldnt want him slowing up my team..Espcially against a squad who relies so heavily on there lumbering mess of a 7ft'er...

Thats why you trade Yao.....Hes to slow and immobile...Utah only exposed what Phoenix, Dallas, and San Antonio have all season against him, he's not built for today's game....If youre gonna be 7ft today, you gotta be able to go wire to wire...Josh Howard, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and even Eddie Curry all play nasty, mean, and can run all day if necessary...Yao gets winded 5 minutes into the first quarter.....Its a fact...

He cant defend smaller more agile players like Boozer, Brand and Dirk, b/c he cant move his feet..he requires to much help side.....Thus making him a defensive liability...At best he's a scorer..Who, and im sticking buy this, IF HE WERE 6'10 HE'D BE AVERAGE AT BEST...

This off season, Id make the biggest splash in the offseason known to man, I'd trade him......Go let him pull the wool over somebody elses eyes..e

Ok, raise your hands if the local dope man on your set didnt have a Car Bra on top of his Accura Integra, or Toyota Tercel . What exactly was the point of this Black Leather mess?? I have yet to meet a person who ever actually had one on top of there car take it off, and most of the times, it never served its purpose.

The Car Bra is supposed to be used for extended road trips so you dont get bugs and various dirt and residue on the front of your car, but all I ever seem to remember about car bras was Pete the Dope Man and his 8' sub woofers in the back of his trunk.......

Whats I consider most sad about this is, these owners of the Car Bra would keep them own 24/7 365...Through Sun Damage. mud stains, bugs, and you name it, the only time that bra ever came off was when it was time to get the car serviced....I for one am so glad these $#!+$ have came and gone...

MTV'S Adventure's in HollyHood

So President Bush comes on TV yesterday and I immediately flip the channel to find anything other then him vetoing a bill about people troops coming home...I eventually land on MTV's new reality show, Adventures in HollyHood based on Oscar winning rap group Three 6 Mafia and all the wild fun they have in Hollywood and all areas between.

You know that phrase its like watching a car accident, and for some odd reason you cant take your eyes off of it, well that was me yesterday....The episode in question I caught was when Big Triece invited his girlfriend SugarFoot YEP SugarFoot from Memphis so he can propose to her and show her a god time while on the west coast..

I honestly dont know where to begin..Lets see, theres the sequence of 36M trying to purchase the cheapest ticket possible to get Sugarfoot to LA, then ultimately busing her there, Big Triece asking Sugar Foot if he coud touch her booty after every hug, or and this is my personal favorite, Big Triece trying to suck SugarFoots Toes in the back of the Limousine after there dinner.

What makes this even worse, when they get home, Sugar foot starts to search for Whip Cream to add to the bedroom so her and Triece can have a little intimate time together but to no avail...So what does she do, she gets Ranch Dressing and sugar mixes it up, and goes from there..

My people I about died at that point.. Now I cant tell you that I'll be a daily watcher of this, Flav has already taken so much of my time with Charm School , but here's my challenge to you, if its on and you flip to it, tell me how long it took you to flip away from it...
